I’m a 57 year old wife, mother and Gigi (grandmother).  I was invited by a friend to a bounce class in May 2021. It was the first time in many years that I had been in a fitness space that looked and felt like me.  It was safe. I could take off the “face” I wore during the work part of my day and just exhale.  The workout was fun.  I was encouraged all along the way.  My friend stopped coming, but I remained and took other classes. Like all the things I need to be whole, faith and family, God has also blessed me with Power P Bounce Co.  HIS timing is perfect. PPBCO was part of my healing journey after the death of my mother and stepfather during COVID. HE has used this ministry to deepen by relationship with HIM. The encouragement I have received from the coaches and instructors has been amazing and it is a testament to what GOD will allow you to accomplish if you remain faithful.  People who know me, know that they will have a problem with me if they attempt to disrupt by PPBCO schedule.
My weight at the time of my very first class was 220lbs. Today, I am at 167lbs. It’s more than the weight loss.  I’m stronger. I'm better able to age gracefully. I can run and play with my young grandchildren. I also now have a fit family that brings me laughter and encouragement but also allows me to encourage and love on some awesome women (and men).  Thank you Power P for your heart to serve others!

I began my journey with Power P Bounce & Co on June 3, 2023, but the seeds were planted a few months earlier during a conversation that changed everything. While talking to LaTasha White, aka to me as Coach Tash; about managing my husband's dialysis and planning a vacation, as she had plenty of experience with this due to her husband also doing home hemo dialysis. As we talked, she had to rush off to teach a fitness class -one she passionately described to me. That moment stuck with me. It took me three months to build the courage to walk through the doors... but once I did, I was hooked. I instantly fell in love. Power P Bounce & Co is more than Bounce fitness and strength training program - it's a movement, a community, and for many of us, a lifeline. What truly sets this place apart are the instructors: powerful, God-fearing Black women on a mission to serve. Their goal is inclusion, not
division - they create a space where everyone belongs, regardless of skin tone, background, or fitness level.
Power P herself told me: "I never want anyone to feel like they don't belong." And she means it. Here, we sweat together, ask questions, uplift one another, and build real relationships. This journey has transformed more than just my physical health - it's reshaped how I see myself. I used to worry about what others thought of me. Not anymore. Now, it's me against me - and I'm
surrounded by strong, supportive women and men who hold each other accountable. No judgment. No shortcuts. Just consistency, grit, and growth.
Though Kokomo is my home base, I often travel to Indianapolis to take classes like Box 2 The Beat at the corporate headquarters. I'm a Beast Mode Bouncer and proud of it. I'll continue to bounce, train, travel - and most importantly - help spread the joy, community, and power I've found in this incredible place where I’ve met many new lifelong friends. I’m especially proud to have my two sisters joining me and working on their health as well. As we age, we don’t have to decline.   As Coach Tash would say “we get to” we have a choice & if anyone reading this wants to change their stars reach out to Power P, Coach Tash, Pastor Lena or any of the PPB&C instructors.
